Leadership diagnostics and team effectiveness

Helping your leadership teams take a closer look at how they operate in the team and organisational context, improving their leadership and handling of business complexity

How can your leaders have a bigger impact?

Successful leaders know how to get the best out of themselves, and the people around them. Leadership diagnostics can help your leaders take a closer look at how they operate in the team and organisational context, improving their leadership and handling increasing business complexity.

Our methodical approach can also be used to evaluate team effectiveness, particularly ExCos or Management Boards, to find leadership gaps and identify what needs to change. We often apply learnings from ‘The five dysfunctions of a team’ model to hone leadership teams and drive transformation.

Data gathering: examples

Psychometrics

These self-reported surveys help identify a person’s stable personality traits, derailers (the ‘dark side’ of their personality), motivations and values.

Examining human attributes

We look at established patterns of behaviours, bio-graphical insights and understanding determinants of past behaviour to predict future behaviour.

Cognition patterns and personal experiences

We’ll look to understand thinking in key areas using Personal Construct Theory (PCT), which explores how people perceive themselves and the world around them.

360 Stakeholder view

We’ll triangulate how leaders see themselves compared with how others perceive them. This will include a Kompass behaviours audit that helps analyse people’s workplace behaviour, culture, and ethics, to see how they align with their organisation’s values and ethical standards.
